great little pot

I bought this pot because I already owned a Vinaroz ceramic wok, which I love, and because trying to find a ceramic pot this size that isn’t part of a set is almost impossible. I’ve been using the pot for a couple months now and find it to be of the same high quality as the Vinaroz wok. Nothing sticks to it, and cleanup is a breeze–just rinse it out with a little soapy water and it looks like new. Nothing here not to love. I highly recommend this pot to anyone interested in healthier cooking.

I’ve searched a long time for a 1 1/2 qt. saucepan with a ceramic interior. In my opinion some things just taste better cooked in a ceramic lined pan as opposed to traditional nonstick, such as tomato based dishes, potatoes, gravies, etc. Found this one on Amazon and I hesitated to buy it, I hate paying open stock prices on cookware! Bit the bullet and ordered it and I’m so glad I did. This pan heats evenly and quickly. I really like the fact that this pan is a little wider at the top and not as deep as most saucepans made today, I think it’s a perfect size. The steam vent in the lid is great, no more liquid spitting out around the edges of the lid when I’m simmering something, and no liquid condensation that drips every time you remove the lid to stir the food. This pan has a nice balanced weight to it and the handles on the pot and the lid stay cool. Cleanup is a breeze, a squirt with the faucet sprayer removes any residue and a quick warm soapy wash is all that is needed. The only negative thing I can say about this pan is the color, it’s not a deep red, it’s an almost pinkish red color, but the good points of this pan far outweigh the color issue. I highly recommend this saucepan!

Extremely thin ceramic layer is very fragile

The extremely thin ceramic layer is very fragile. It is NOT dishwasher safe and scratches very easily. After scratching it becomes useless because it exposes the aluminum to the food. What a waste of money.
